MLB: How to Watch 2022 World Series: Astros vs. Phillies Live Without Cable on November 5

The 2022 World Series continues tonight. The Astros will take on the Phillies in the Fall Classic. Here's how to watch

Raymond McCain

October is here and the pennant chase in the National and American League are heating up. The teams are set and the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves look to defend their crown as the 2022 MLB Postseason continues.

Fans will notice that this year's postseason will have a new format. Instead of the usual 10 teams, for the first time, 12 teams will participate in the playoffs for a chance to advance to the Fall Classic. In historic fashion, there will be four best-of-3 Wild Card Series games that will replace the usual single-elimination Wild Card Games, which will be followed by a best-of-5 Division Series. The Padres, Mariners, Guardians, and Phillies won their matchups in the World Card Series and advanced to the League Division Series.

After a grueling League Division Series, the Phillies, Astros, and Padres won their respective series to advance to the League Championship Series. In the NLCS, The Phillies were able to give the Padres a gentleman's sweep by eliminating them 4-1 and advancing to their first World Series since 2009. In the ALCS, the Astros swept the Yankees, 4-0, to advance to their second-straight Fall Classic.
